NYCN Presidential Hopeful Urges Youth Involvement In Decision Making

Innocent Nduanya, an aspirant to the office of the President of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has canvassed for the youths to be involved in Nigeria’s highest decision making body, noting that the country, by not involving the youths in this regard, was losing a lot.

 

Speaking to reporters after attending a public function in Awka on Tuesday, Nduanya, who is the Special Assistant to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State on Students Matters, said that the Nigeria youths, despite some short comings, remain sone of the most hard working youths all over the world, as findings, he noted, has shown.

 

On his ambition to lead the youths, he said that his vision was a divine mandate to lead the young ones back to their root, “which is to embrace our cultures, values and customs, which are superb.

 

He said further: “Aside this, if I am elected, I will ensure that we the Nigeria youths help the president to ensure better security by actively participating in whatever that will ensure peace.”

 

Contributing, Okechukwu Ajani, a prominent youth leader in Anambra State, said that contrary to belief in certain quarters that Nigeria youths are lazy, the youths were the most hardworking set, who are doing well in almost every part of the world, noting that if given a chance to participate in the leadership of the country, the nation would excel.
